Nerdly is run by Uplink Switch LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company. It is an AI study helper: you send a question, it sends the question to an AI model, and it returns the answer. Using the site or an account means agreeing to these terms, the honor code and the privacy notice, which together are the whole agreement between you and Uplink Switch LLC.
- You must be 13 or older. If you are under 18, you may use it only with a parent or guardian’s permission, and they agree to these terms for you.
- A parent or teacher who buys a plan for a student is responsible for the account.
- You may not use the service if you are on a U.S. sanctions list or in a country under comprehensive U.S. sanctions.
- One account per person. You are responsible for what is done with it.
- A key from your account lets the chat on this site run under your plan. Keep it to yourself; anyone who has it spends your questions.
- You may not resell access, share an account between people, or build another product on the service without written permission from Uplink Switch LLC.
- Answers are generated by an AI model that Uplink Switch LLC does not train or control. They can be wrong. Every answer ends with a way to check it; use it.
- Answers are not legal, medical or financial advice, and they are not a teacher’s grade.
- You keep whatever rights you have in what you send and in the answers, and you are responsible for how you use them, including under your school’s rules.
- The model may change without notice as better ones become available.
- Free use is limited to a number of questions a day, which the pricing page states and which may change.
- A plan is paid for a month or a year in advance and runs for that period. It does not renew by itself; you renew it by paying again, and without a payment it ends after a three-day grace period.
- Card payments are processed for Uplink Switch LLC by its payment processor, named on the checkout page and the receipt. A card is charged once per purchase and is not stored by us.
- Daily question allowances reset at 00:00 UTC and do not carry over.
- A payment that is refunded, or disputed with your card issuer, ends the plan it paid for. The refund policy says what is refunded.
Anything the honor code rules out: submitting answers as your own where that is cheating, harassing anyone, trying to get the model to produce sexual content, content that sexualizes a minor, instructions for weapons or violence, or anything illegal where you are. Automated traffic that degrades the service for others is not allowed either. Uplink Switch LLC may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules, without notice, and the unused part of its plan is not refunded.
- Uplink Switch LLC may change the service, the limits and the prices. A price change applies to the next purchase, never to a plan already paid for.
- The service may be unavailable at times. Uplink Switch LLC does not promise a level of availability and is not responsible for the acts of the hosts and processors it uses.
The service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, Uplink Switch LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including a grade, and its total liability to you is limited to what you paid in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
These terms are governed by the law of Wyoming, United States, and disputes go to the state or federal courts there, unless the law where you live gives you other rights that cannot be waived.
The date at the top changes when this page does; a change that matters is announced by email to accounts. Questions go to hello@nerdly.us.
