Most math help online is an answer with the work hidden, or a worked example for a different problem than yours. Nerdly works your problem: the one you paste, step by step, numbered, with one short line after each step saying why it is allowed. The final answer comes on its own line, and then a check you can do yourself, like plugging the answer back in or estimating.
Three ways to use it
- Explain. You are stuck. Paste the problem and get the full working. Ask a follow-up if a step is not clear; it stays on the same problem.
- Check my work. You finished and want to know before the teacher does. Paste the problem and your steps. It finds the first wrong step, says what rule applies, and stops there so you can fix the rest.
- Quiz me. Test tomorrow. Name the topic, get one question at a time, graded as you go, with the thing to review at the end.
From fractions to calculus
It handles the whole run: arithmetic and fractions, ratios and percentages, pre-algebra, algebra, geometry proofs, trig identities, precalculus, limits, derivatives and integrals, probability and statistics. Say your grade or course in Settings and the language matches it. A 6th grader and an AP Calculus student asking about fractions get different answers.
Honest about the limits
It cannot read a photo of the page yet, so type or paste the problem. It is good, not perfect, which is why every answer ends with a check. Use it to understand the method, then do the next problem alone. The honor code has the rest.
